Support Tanya, Zoe, Zion, and Zuriel after Jesse’s passing

As most of you know, Jesse Gellatly passed away suddenly on Friday night. We mourn for him, while also knowing he is home with Jesus. We are all still processing this loss and especially praying for his family he left behind.

For those who knew Jesse, whether through many of the nations and places he spent time in or his home state, Washington, he was a man who loved Jesus, had big faith and loved his family. He aimed to live as a son, and to bring others into relationship with Jesus even as he was pursuing Jesus himself. Most of all, he was and still is loved by Jesus.

===We are hoping to raise funds to support Tanya and Jesse’s three kids Zoe (14), Zion (11), and Zuriel (8)===

Immediate Needs:

Travel (return flights) for Tanya to take Zoe, Zion, and Zuriel to Washington state for their Daddy’s memorial service. This will probably include renting a car and the cost of a motel.

Estimate: about $3000, including:

$700 return flights to Washington for 4

$700 cost of a motel for 5 nights

$1500 for the cost of a rental car for around the same amount of time, including paying for damage protection, accident, and a full tank on return.

5 nights was to work out an estimate. After checking with Tanya, if they don’t end up staying for all 5 nights, Jesse and Tanya had already been talking about taking the kids to see the Noah’s ark experience in Kentucky. The remaining costs estimated for 5 nights in WA should cover Kentucky. It would be so great if the kids could do this especially as Jesse had been talking about taking them already.

Funds for Zoe, Zion, and Zuriel to attend a good school (they have been homeschooling while Tanya works 2 jobs)

$13,000 should cover or mostly cover all 3 kids for one year of school.

General financial help, so Tanya doesn’t have to work as much. She is currently working two jobs plus donating plasma regularly in order to barely keep things afloat. If she could manage a third job she would take it, but there simply isn’t time for a third job.

Bonuses, if more funds are raised:

Land to build the ministry the Lord is calling them to. Tanya and the kids have been living in a camper trailer. If they have land they can also just park the trailer on it. Land minimum without septic etc is around $25,000. With septic might be something like another $10,000 but we need to double check on that.

With the land, they feel called to build a hobby farm and create a safe space for kids to come.

Student loans. We would love to see Tanya’s student loans paid off to alleviate financial pressure. This would lower her monthly costs. Loans are about $30,000.

I know from my time living and traveling with Tanya (Asia, Mozambique, Central America), that she is incredibly strong, resilient, hardworking, and she doesn’t usually speak up about her needs, instead carrying a deep trust in God and His provision and timing. I do believe God wants to move big in this time in provision for all of Jesse’s family.

Thank you so much for any and all gifts! We really want to come around and support Tanya, Zoe, Zion, and Zuriel in this time of grief and adjustment, and would also really just love to see some of the stress lifted off Tanya, giving them space to process and be together.
