Support Tanya Mayer's Journey to a New Home
Donation protected
On Thursday, August 1st, our world turned upside down. While visiting our family in Napa for her birthday, our mother, Tanya Mayer, received the devastating news of a structure fire in her home. We watched helplessly from afar, 31 years of cherished memories and irreplaceable belongings were destroyed, and hoping some are salvageable.
The fire department was forced to enter her unit to access the attic where the fire was raging in the neighboring unit. To reach the flames, they had to demolish the ceiling in every room, leaving behind exposed, fire-scorched rafters and a hazardous mix of insulation and asbestos contaminating all of her possessions.
While insurance will provide some assistance, the coverage falls far short of replacing the countless items that hold immense sentimental value. These are not just things; they are pieces of our mother's life story.
We are reaching out to our community for support as we help our mother rebuild her life from scratch. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping her find a new place to call home and replace essential items.
We are incredibly grateful for any support you can offer. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
