Support Tammy's Courageous Health Journey

This fund me page is being set up for my sister Tammy Benstine who lives in Haleyville Al. I’d like to share the last year and 9 months of Tammy's journey. January 1st, 2023, New Year's Day she received both a liver and kidney transplant at the same time due to failure of both organs. This was followed by a year of pain and suffering and a long term hospital stay due to many complications. In November of 2023, she was diagnosed with a cancerous spot located between her eyes. Surgery was performed to remove the cancer. On June 10, 2024, she was again diagnosed with facial cancer, this time the cancer was located on the right cheek and again she had to have another surgery to remove this fast growing cancer. As a result of this fast growing cancer, the surgeons had to remove half of her facial tissues which included inner and outer tissues, lip and teeth on the entire right side of her mouth. This surgery was extremely graphic and painful to her. Additionally, the Initial grafts didn't take so surgeons had to perform another graft surgery to replant several of the grafts. Unfortunately, yet again the cancer has returned, but this time on the left side of her cheek. On Sept. 17th she started Chemo and on Oct. 3rd Radiation began. These started so late due to complications from the facial cancer surgery. She is far from being out of the woods and has so much more to go thru. As you can imagine Medical bills are coming in and she is financially struggling. Any financial donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
