I’m Tamika Gooden,reaching out for help for my dad and his community in Top Road, Darliston. My dad is 76 years old, currently ill, and in the hospital after the recent storm completely wrecked his home. Sadly, after the storm, people stole what little remnants he had left. Now, he has nothing to return to.

My dad has always been a kind, helpful man — someone who looked out for his neighbors and supported anyone in need within the community. It breaks my heart to see him and others in Top Road suffering like this.

We are seeking assistance to help rebuild his home and also provide short-term relief to other affected families in the area who have lost everything. Many of them still don’t have proper shelter or basic supplies.

Unfortunately, government relief often becomes politicized and doesn’t reach rural areas like ours, leaving people to fend for themselves. That’s why we’re asking for your help — your donation, prayers, or even sharing this message can make a real difference.
