Hello, community. We are still raising funds for the Young family. We originally set a goal of 3,500, and because of you all, we came very close to reaching it. However, tragedy struck the family, and most of the money was used to help pay for a funeral. The original goal of 3,500 is still needed.

We urgently need to raise $3,500 for the family of Ta’Kiya Young, which includes her grandmother, sons, and brother. Their current living conditions are unsafe. The home they live in has suffered water and electrical damage, which has even caused appliances to catch fire. Additionally, the house has been shot at during crossfire incidents, creating a dangerous environment for the young children and everyone inside. There are also numerous health risks that no one, especially young or elderly individuals, should have to endure.

The funds we raise will help them move to a better home in a safer neighborhood. This will allow us to make a security deposit on the new home, pay for moving services and a U-Haul, and cover any other necessary fees.
