We want to start by saying thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The love, support, and generosity we’ve received during this heartbreaking time have meant more than we could ever put into words. Losing our home, everything we owned, my school, and my classroom to the Palisades Fire has been simply devastating and overwhelming. The majority of my students and their families have also lost their homes, and our community is reeling from the devastation.

Because of your kindness, Lukas and I have been given more help than we could have ever dreamed of, and for that, we are endlessly grateful. With this in mind, we’ve decided to shift our focus to supporting others in our community who need it most.

Moving forward, any donations we receive will be used to help our community and support others in need. We want to support my students and their families, and our neighbors and friends who are facing unimaginable challenges with uncovered expenses.

Lukas and I have always been people who believe in helping others, and this tragedy has shown us how much good can come from people coming together. Thank you for standing by us, and for helping us extend that same support to those around us. We are so incredibly blessed to be apart of such an amazing community and know that as long as we stand together, we can overcome—one step at a time. We rise together. ❤️‍❤️‍❤️‍
