Dear Friends & Family
We are reaching out to share the story of someone truly special to us: Tai Lovatt – our friend, brother, partner, and all-around legend. At just 29 years old, Tai has been handed a challenge no one should ever have to face. He has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that has turned his world upside down in the blink of an eye.
They say, "A little from many can make a lot for one," and that’s exactly what we’re hoping to achieve together.
If you know Tai, you know how extraordinary he is. He’s the guy whose laugh can light up a room, always at the centre of a good joke or some cheeky banter. Whether it’s playing OzTag, hitting the greens in golf, or smashing a cricket ball around, Tai approaches everything with passion, heart and fun. He’s smart, spirited and loves a good debate – especially if it’s about politics!
Now, Tai’s days are filled with doctor’s appointments, chemo sessions, tests, and scans. The treatments are gruelling, taking a toll both physically and emotionally. Through it all, he’s had the unwavering support of his partner, Claire, who’s been his anchor. Her love and strength are nothing short of inspiring as she walks this journey alongside him.
But this battle hasn’t come without enormous strain. With Tai unable to work and Claire needing to take significant time off her own job to support him, the financial and emotional challenges have only grown. Mounting medical bills and living expenses have added significant pressure to an already heartbreaking situation. That’s where we, as a community, can step in.
We’re coming together to provide Tai and Claire with the financial support they need to focus on what truly matters: Tai’s health and recovery. Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering medical expenses, travel for treatments, prescriptions, and daily living costs, giving them both the space to focus on healing.
How You Can Help:
• Donate: Every contribution makes a difference, no matter the amount. Your generosity will help ease their financial burden and let them focus on fighting this disease.
• Share: Spread the word. Share this message far and wide. Together, we can build a network of support for Tai and Claire.
Tai is a fighter, but no one should have to fight alone. He has more jokes to crack, more dreams to chase, and more memories to make. The world is brighter with him in it, and we refuse to let cancer dim that light.
Let’s show Tai that he has an army behind him, cheering him on every step of the way. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us help him.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Daniel, Tracey, Ellen, Anna & James, Ethan & Cush.
