Hi, my name is Taci Belisle. I am a full-time mom and caregiver to three amazing kids—one of whom, my son is battling Sanfilippo Syndrome Type B, a rare and terminal form of childhood dementia. He is medically fragile, wheelchair-bound, and tube-fed. Every day, I am his nurse, advocate, and voice and have been for the past 12 years.

On top of this, I’m in the middle of a difficult legal battle to protect my children and secure the future care my son desperately needs. The reality is: Lawyer fees are drowning me!

I already live paycheck to paycheck—mostly from random social media income and child support.

I’ve sold what I can, stretched every dollar, and still, it’s not enough.

Without proper Legal Representation, I risk losing the ability to fight for Ryder’s medical care, his stability, and my daughters’ safety.

I don’t like asking for help. But the system is not built for single, full-time caregivers of medically complex children. Legal fees are thousands of dollars upfront—money I simply do not have. Your donations will go directly to:

I have a 6 bedroom handicap

accessible home in Akron that I secured back in May. I transitioned all of my sons care during my hospital stay in May with him. I coordinated all of his care to Akron. In Akron I can be paid to take care of my son so he won't need a nurse. I will finally be financially stable. In Washington no pay for caregiving. No sibling support groups. The cost of living is outrageous in Washington.

⚖️ This case determines whether my son can access the specialized care he is one in 200k with Sanfilippo B ,in Ohio that he urgently needs. Transportation to his new hospital is less than 10 minutes away. Old hospital 2 hours moving closing to the hospital is even more expensive. They dont have the coordinated care that he needs.
