Hi, my name is Chantelle and this fundraiser is for my dear friend - someone I care about deeply and who is going through a really hard transition right now.

I've known Tabby for over 45 years and she’s one of the most capable, thoughtful people I know. She’s handled a lot on her own for a long time, but at this moment, she truly needs some support to take a critical next step forward.

She’s working to leave an unsafe and unhealthy living situation and move into stable housing of her own. This isn’t just about a change of address - it’s about safety, peace of mind, and having a solid foundation so she can begin rebuilding.

She’s also a mom. She has both adult children and one school-aged child, and while this fundraiser is focused on helping her, having a calm, secure home will benefit her whole family and allow her to be the support system she’s always tried so hard to be for them.

Right now, she isn’t employed and simply doesn’t have the upfront funds needed to secure an apartment. Application fees, deposits, and first month’s rent create a real barrier during a transition like this - one that she can’t get past without help.

Creating a safe, stable home so she can regain her footing and return to work.
