My name is Sydney Raines Perez, and I am honored to have been selected as a contestant in the 2026 Ms. Jabberwock Pageant sponsored by the Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

I am a Senior at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in the Dance Conservatory where I am the Vice President of Black Student Union. I also serve as the Teen Chair of the Cultural Committee for the Arlington Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. and volunteer as an Election Monitor. For the past three years, I have danced with the four-time World of Dance Dallas Champion and most-decorated, female dance crew in Texas, Team Athena DTX.

After graduation, I plan to attend college in Los Angeles or New York and major in Dance with a minor in African American Studies. My dream is to travel the world performing in stadiums on tour with music artists and one day choreographing, staging and producing tours for renowned artists. When I'm not dancing, I enjoy cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.

If you feel moved to support my journey to be crowned Ms. Jabberwock, donations in any amount are deeply appreciated. Your generosity, encouragement, and support mean the world to me.

With love and gratitude,

Sydney Raines Perez
