Support Sweet Arthur and the Lilly Family

Hello everyone! In response to the generous offers of support from friends, family and community, we have started this fundraiser as a means of supporting Arthur and our family while we seek medical care away from our home. Contributions will help offset the costs of living away from home, lost income and private pay alternative therapies.

Backstory: Arthur was diagnosed with suspected epilepsy in September 2023 after several unprovoked seizures. He was started on a medication that seemed to be working until December when his seizures returned worse then before. He was admitted to Duncan hospital where we live, after having a high of 25 seizures in 24 hours (the most in one day). After several failed medications and an inability to gain control of Arthur's seizures he was moved to the paediatric ICU in Victoria. They were also unable to stop his seizures. Arthur was then transferred by helicopter to BC Children's hospital in Vancouver. The family will be staying until there is a diagnosis and seizures are controlled. As seizures are still occurring despite trialling many medications, it is suspected that we will be here for the foreseeable future.

We know times are tough right now, but if you feel like you are able to help it would be so greatly appreciated, so we can continue to focus on our boy getting better!
