Support Suzanne’s Second Battle with Breast Cancer

Dear School Community, Friends, and Neighbours,

My name is Ginger Toth, a community member of Pebble Hill Elementary School.

I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request on behalf of a very special friend and member of our school community, Suzanne King.

Our beautiful friend Suzanne is facing breast cancer for the second time — and this time, the fight is even tougher.

Just a year after bravely overcoming her first battle with breast cancer, Suzanne has received the heartbreaking news that her cancer has returned — this time in her lymph nodes.

Suzanne is a solo parent to three wonderful children: Kyla (12) and her twins, Tamzen and Weston (9). She’s the kind of mother, friend, and community member who always shows up with kindness, strength, and a warm smile — even in the face of hardship.

She is now currently undergoing a year of chemotherapy and immunotherapy Suzanne has stopped working in order to focus on her health and to be with her children. As she begins treatment again, we want to come together to ease some of the burden and show Suzanne—and her children—that they are not alone.

Now more than ever, she needs our support.

We’re raising funds and organizing a meal train to help cover:

• Healthy meals

• House cleaning and daily support

• Living expenses while she’s unable to work

• Any unforeseen costs that may arise during this difficult time

This is our chance to wrap Suzanne and her family in love and community as they face the road ahead.

Even a small act of kindness can go a long way in bringing comfort and care to Suzanne and her children during this time.
