Support Suzanna's Fight to Keep Her Family Safe

After 15 years, her husband betrayed her, stole thousands of dollars, assaulted her, threatened their children, and is now sitting in jail where he belongs… Kris lost his job 6 months ago, so Suzanna went back to work and was making all the money for the household. Kris’ name is on everything, so she was giving him the money to pay the bills, but he was taking it and doing anything else. She didn't know until February when Kris became dangerous and ultimately got himself locked up. Now she is finding out the mortgage and all the bills are delinquent, the house is at risk of foreclosure, and the electricity was shut off this morning…. She works 2 jobs, cares for 3 children, and is trying her best but does not have the resources or support she needs. She has a lot of pride, but I cannot watch her drown from it, so I'm asking for help for her. She is embarrassed but needs help.

Mortgage: $8495

Electricity: $807

Water: $268

Total: $9570

My goal is $10,000 to get her caught up and have enough for a month of groceries.

She is working with the court and lawyers to be able to move, but that takes months. The electric company refuses to take payments or switch the account to her name with a balance.

The mortgage company cannot give her any information since the loan is in his name, and she is unable to get the release form necessary because Kris is incarcerated and has been unwilling to cooperate.

She has truly done everything “right”! Her husband became a danger, so she got herself and her kids away from him. The law did the right thing and is protecting them by putting him in jail. But now he gets to sit and wait while Suzanna has to continue life and serve those babies. She is alone, please donate anything to help.
