Support Suspended Amazon Driver

On January 10th, Amazon Delivery driver and organizer with Amazonians United Atlanta, Hunter Richau, was suspended without pay. This comes just a few weeks after a successful petition delivery on the behalf of his coworkers and drivers everywhere. Additionally, he helped make a TikTok around the same time that has gotten over 550k viewers. In it, he is seen explaining how Amazon is in full control of delivery drivers' day to day operations. Over the course of two years with Amazon, Hunter has been a part of petition campaigns, hosting socials with coworkers, and advocating for better working conditions alongside his teammates.

Amazon has complete control over daily driver operations while at the same time claiming they are sub-contracted as an effort to weaken unionization attempts. This suspension was an attempt to silence a worker highlighting their anti-union practices while fighting for better working conditions on the inside. Now, his future employment with the company is in jeopardy and he is likely to be terminated as a result.

During this time of uncertainty, Hunter will need help with bills while we challenge Amazon and his DSP to reinstate him and clear him of any wrongdoing so he can return to work. Organizing Amazon without a union is difficult, and there are many challenges in fighting for better worker treatment in the South, and anywhere in general.
