My name is Susan and I came to the US on a student visa and earned a master's degree. I was working on getting my permanent residency and had a work visa. My immigration attorney messed up some of the paperwork for the next step and then stopped communicating with me. She has not responded to any of my emails or phone calls in months. Because of this, my work visa was revoked and I can no longer legally work in the US, but I have to somehow pay a new immigration attorney to start the process over again.
