Imagine someone you love suffering from serious health complications, including heart failure. They give back to their community and work a job to help our youth, even as their health deteriorates. Then they are cold heartedly evicted from their home and thrust into homelessness. My name is David Marsinelli and I am pleading with you to help my beloved neighbor, Susan Trenholm.

Susan is an elderly woman who works as a lunch lady, with myself and others experiencing her kindness throughout the school day. For many years, Susan, on cold, snowy days, would put up decorations for Halloween and Christmas; her giant inflatables and bright lights illuminating the street. Walking to or from Barrington High School, I was often annoyed and tired, but Susan's decorations made me from a disgruntled student to a proud community member. I remember countless other students laughing and admiring the many decorations just as I did, demonstrating how much joy her effort brought to our community.

However, after experiencing serious heart failure, Susan has been unable to put up many decorations. Despite this, she still goes to work everyday and puts in utmost effort. Only a few weeks ago, the very school she works at bought the property she had lived in for years from her landlord. With barely any warning, Susan faced eviction, with no compensation or assistance of any sort to help her.
