My name is Suma Boddu, and today I reach out not just as a mother, but as someone fighting with every ounce of strength to keep her family together. I am a single mother of two beautiful young children, both of whom have severe, high-needs autism. Our journey has been filled with overwhelming challenges, and today, I find myself at a critical moment where I truly need your support.

Our Story

After surviving domestic violence and enduring a painful legal battle, I was able to regain custody of my children, who had been placed in the care of the Department of Child Safety (DCS). Their father has since abandoned us, fled the country, provided no financial support, and left me with significant debt and bankruptcy in my name. He has cut all contact and remains under active DCS investigation for abuse.

Through it all, I have worked tirelessly to provide a safe, stable, and loving home for my children. They are U.S. citizens and require round-the-clock specialized care and therapy due to the severity of their autism. Currently, my children are under DCS in-home legal custody and are monitored by DCS, which also means we are legally restricted from leaving the country. The thought of being separated from them again is simply unbearable.
