Support for Sue’s after life expenses for the family

Update from the family of Sue Peaden Shattuck

“With the heaviest heart imaginable, I’d like to let you all know that my strong, beautiful, sweet, hilarious Mom passed away very peacefully yesterday evening. I will miss her more than words can ever describe, and my world has been turned upside down. My only comfort is knowing she is where she has wanted to be for 3 years — with my sister, Leslie.

Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of love towards my Mom, not only over the last 12 days, but over her entire life.”

The go fund me has been updated and all donations will now be going towards afterlife expenses.

On Tuesday evening 6/11, Sue was taken to the ER via ambulance with severe pain among other symptoms. Her health quickly and significantly declined once arriving at Baptist Hospital. She has since needed a number of medical procedures and life-saving interventions done. At this moment, she is currently in the ICU and though stable, she is in a comatose state and being assisted with breathing.

For the privacy of her and her family, I will refrain from giving too many details as to her medical condition and diagnoses.

While things have had some improvement since that initial admission into ICU, she still has a long road to recovery ahead of her.

There has been an outpouring amount of love, prayers, and offers of support and food to her son Chad and daughter Julie that has been greatly appreciated.

Given the current state of things, not only has Sue been unable to work, but also the family has taken time off their work as well to be by her side. With that being said, I have started this Go Fund Me to help with any financial assistance they may need. Any donations will be appreciated and go towards covering Sue’s expenses such as her household bills, taking care of her animals, as well as hospital bills and anything else that may arise.
