Hi ya’ll Dennie and Stu here. As most of you know, Stu and I are in the process of trying to obtain US Citizenship for Stuart. It’s been a long 3 years since our first filing. I don’t think I can stress enough how important this is to Stu as most of you already know. Not to mention that the timing or “current climate” are not making things any less stressful. The weight of that stress can sometimes feel unreal. It has been Stuart’s dream to travel with his band and come back home to the states since he first came here back in 1989, and being without a work permit has caused undeniable poverty over time. He’s done the right thing by waiting until falling in love to remarry, but many years have passed. These are just a few of the factors that have resulted in a very complex immigration case. Which is why I’ve started this “go fund me.” Without giving too many details about the intricacies of his case, we have been prompted to hire a very reputable attorney who is accustomed to handling a very involved case like his. The issue at hand is that we need to pay a retainer. We do not like asking anyone for money, but we really have no choice in the matter. We totally understand money is tighter than ever these days and anything is greatly appreciated. We have been advised not to put this on social media so as to avoid scrutiny. Therefore, we are only sending this campaign to our dearest and closest friends and family with zero pressure or obligation. We love you and appreciate you and thank you for being in our lives.
