We are the workers of Starbucks Armitage and Hoyne, and for the past four years, we have been fighting for a fair contract and a workplace that respects us. Despite promises from the company, Starbucks has not bargained in good faith and has delayed the approval of a fair contract. This has left us with no choice but to go on an Unfair Labor Practice strike with Starbucks Workers United.




For the next three weeks, we are stepping back from our jobs to stand up for our rights and for the future of our workplace. This decision comes with a lot of stress and uncertainty, as we are losing the income we rely on for rent, food, caring for our children and pets, insurance, and more. We are putting our livelihoods on the line to make a point to the company that we need a fair contract and fair treatment for all workers.
