Hello, my name is Trey Runyan, I am a union barista at the 45th & Lamar Starbucks, the first unionized shop in Texas! This fundraiser is to support the workers currently on strike at 45th & Lamar.

I am an on strike barista collecting funds for our workers. All donations collected will be held by our strike treasury in personal savings account (under my name) and then directly transferred to any of our striking baristas that request financial assistance every week for the duration of our ongoing strike with no current end date.

We are currently on an Unfair Labor Practice strike to demand a fair contract, and the resolution of the hundreds of unfair labor practices that Starbucks has committed. We stand together with over 3,500 striking baristas nationwide!

Your donation will be used as supplemental strike pay for Starbucks workers on strike in Austin, Texas in order to make up for lost wages. It will be distributed based on financial need and go directly into workers’ pockets through venmo or bank transfer.
