I am raising funds from the community to support striking legal service workers in UAW Local 2325 - Association of Legal Advocates and Attorneys (ALAA). Members from the Brooklyn Defender Services, Bronx Defenders, Neighborhood Defender Services, and others have authorized strikes with overwhelming majority support in order to drastically improve conditions at their workplaces.

ALAA workers provide vital services in the Criminal, Family, Immigration, and Housing courts as well as other social and legal services to prevent evictions, deportations, families from being torn apart. Their core demands include: liveable wages and workload provisions so that workers can provide the highest standard of representation. Together we can support those on strike in demanding a new standard across the legal services and advocacy sector.
