Support Street Vendor and family during these ICE raids

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out during a very difficult time for my family. My mom (Alma) is a hardworking undocumented street vendor who supports herself entirely through her street vending. Right now, she’s usually out selling during the graduation season, a time that helps carry her through the summer.

But due to the increased ICE raids happening in our community, we’ve asked her to stay home for her own safety. Like so many street vendors, she’s at high risk and incredibly vulnerable during these times.

While protecting her is the priority, this also means she’s losing the only source of income she depends on. We’re trying to raise enough funds to support her through the next 30 days so she can stay safe without the added stress of figuring out how to survive financially.

If you’re able to donate or share, we would be deeply grateful. Every dollar helps us make sure she doesn’t have to choose between safety and survival.

The funds will be used to support my mom and siblings during these uncertain times.

The organizer of this fundraiser is directly related to Alma, the street vendor, and the Rodriguez Family. She has authorized the organizer to gather and distribute funds under their guidance.

The funds will go towards her cost of living, rent, groceries, utilities, and to help support her family as she is a single parent.
