Hi my name is Peyton! Three years ago I started Crafts for a Cause: Christmas Edition with a few of my friends. This year the Stonington Como’s Leadership program volunteered to help so we can reach more kids in need this holiday season. Kids from across the community joined in to make ornaments to sell for donations. Those donations go to adopt kids in need this Christmas in the Stonington Public School system and through Operation Fresh Start. In the last two years we have raised over $5,000 and adopted more than 50 kids. This year they hope to raise enough to help even more kids. Your donation goes directly to purchase Christmas gifts and clothes for the kids! Every donation makes a difference no matter the size. We will be selling our crafts on 11/29 from 9-12 at the Velvet Mill Farmers Market. Come by and support us in person or make a donation here.
