Update: a wonderful person has come forward to help with the divorce process. Reducing my total costs by at least the bulk of the attorney fees. Suddenly I'm nearly half way there . Please if you can help us be free.

What I need today,

Hello I'm Stephen (yes Phteven, Steven with a ph)

Nearly 18 years ago I fell in love with someone who said they wanted to start a family with me. We had two wonderful children within two years, But myrelationship with my wife changed. We brought out the worst in each other and in the end couldnt make it work. Within just a few years we split up.(my kids were 3 and 4) I was granted custody by the court as well as child support that sadly was never paid. My children's mother didn't use their visitation so my kids grew up not knowing their biological mother. That was in part due to our poor relationship. I couldn't let her have my phone number.And she didn't want to communicate with them in any other way. At this point I have no means of contacting her. I've tried every avenue I could ,but nothing.

8 years ago, me and my girlfriend got together and for the last 8 years She's been as good as a mother to my children. And for 8 years she's patiently waited for me to free myself so we can get married. But without being able to have a mutual divorce.I simply can afford the my legal fees.

My children are now 15 and 16 and if we hope of getting a home before they graduate we need the divorce.

As life goes Every time I was close to having enough money something would come up (covid, transmission on the car, no work for 2 months etc). My entire life is on hold and I just need help , please.

I've spoken to Several attorneys and this is the cheapest one i've ever found. Sadly it's still well beyond what I can afford. I know i'm a stranger with my hand held out but please, I want my kids to know what it's like to have their own home. I want to stand before God and declare my love for my fiancee and make her my wife. I want to have a garden.A yard for our pug to run around in. I want to show my kids the kind of life i never had as a kid. It was tough growing up with just one parent and I wanted to do better for my children. I always try to be there for them to support them to tell them how wonderful they are. Exactly the way I wished my mom had. Dad was living his own life but we made amends in my 20s . Having lost both my parents in the last 3 years.I'm just tired of waiting. I want them to be able to look down at us and see we are happy. I want to have something to leave my children when I'm gone.

All this hinges on one little thing that can be taken care of with what is an insurmountable amount of cash for me.

I try to live my life by a simple rule every day make the world a little better but first do no harm.

( for anyone who wants to know why I can't use legal aid to get divorced, she contacted them first during our first of 3 separations. This would create a conflict of interest were they to assist me. I'm effectively blocked.)

In just 2 days 4 people have already helped with enough for filing fees, please if you can , just a few dollars from many will get us there. If you know me you know I wouldn't hesitate, but sadly I can't do this alone. Ty to my angels on overwatch, always looking out .
