I’m raising money for my brother-in-law, Stephen, after his house exploded. He lost everything, and two of his four pets made it out, with one still unaccounted for. Stephen is currently in the burn unit. Stephen is expected to be in the hospital for at least 6 months, and our family is devastated by what has happened.

Because of his injuries and long recovery, Steven will be unable to work and will struggle financially for the foreseeable future. This is not just an immediate emergency. The need will continue while he is hospitalized and unable to earn income, and steady support would help relieve some of that ongoing pressure.

Donations will help with the essentials Stephen needs now and over the coming months, including a new phone, his phone bill, food, a new enclosure for one of his animals, pet food, vet care, and gas money so family can drive to visit him.
