Jessica is creating this fundraiser for one of her closest friends, Stephanie, and Stephanie’s 4-year-old son, Roman, after they experienced an unimaginable tragedy. On the morning of August 25th, Stephanie’s ex-boyfriend, who is also Roman’s father, broke into her home killing her current boyfriend, and later, himself. In an instant, Stephanie and Roman lost not only someone they loved, but also their sense of safety, peace, and stability. They are now trying to process profound trauma and grief while facing the painful reality that the home they knew may no longer be a place they can return to.

As Stephanie and Roman begin taking these next difficult steps forward, this support will help provide living expenses, basic daily needs, temporary stability, counseling, and help with lost wages while Stephanie is unable to return to normal life and work.
