Donate for St. Mary's Gaga Ball Pit

Hello. My name is Akash and I am a boy scout from troop 140 in Buffalo Grove, IL. I am a senior at Adlai E. Stevenson High School. I am currently a Life Scout working towards the highest rank in Boy Scouts, Eagle scout. To achieve Eagle, I must plan, organize, and lead a service project for my community. For my Eagle project I have decided to build a Gaga ball pit for St. Mary School in Buffalo Grove.

The current playground at St. Mary’s Church is designed primarily for younger children, around kindergarten through 3rd grade. This setup leaves the older students, particularly those in 4th through 8th grade, without engaging activities during their free hour. Due to this, I have decided to build a Gaga ball pit as my Eagle Scout project.

The Gaga ball pit will offer the older students a fun and active way to spend their time, promoting physical activity and fostering a sense of community. This new addition will ensure that all students at St. Mary’s School have access to fun activities during their free hour.

To make this project a reality, I am seeking donations to cover the cost of materials and construction tools. Your generous contribution will help purchase lumber, hardware, protective surfacing, and other necessary supplies.
