In order for the Kiwanis Pool to reopen for the summer of 2026 significant long-term repairs to stop leakage and erosion must be completed. This project includes sand-blasting the pool, concrete repair, professional paint and seal, seam replacement, and new circulation piping.

We need your help to make this happen!

The St. Johnsbury Kiwanis Pool has been operated and maintained by the St. Johnsbury Kiwanis for the past 82 years. Throughout its history, the pool has provided swimming and Red Cross swim lessons for youth, families, and seniors at no cost.

In recent years, the pool has undergone several upgrades including: new diving boards and fencing, a slide, upgraded pumps, control and chlorination systems, a renovated pool deck, and repairs to both above and below-ground piping. These improvements have totaled approximately $350,000, all funded by St. Johnsbury Kiwanis.
To ensure the pool can reopen for the summer of 2026 and operate for at least the next 20-30 years, significant long-term repairs to the pool basin are required to address leakage and erosion. The planned restoration includes sandblasting, concrete repairs, professional painting and sealing, seam replacements, and installation of new circulation piping.

Kiwanis thanks you in advance for any support you can offer. A new municipal pool would likely cost around $4 million. We think that this upgrade is a wise investment for our community.
