Help Dylan and Vaughn Get Back on Bikes

Donation protected
Hello,

I'm Tony Sanchez, Head Coach for the St. Francis High School Mountain Bike team from La Canada - Flintridge, California.
We are an all-volunteer organization at the school with parents that coach and run the team.

Our mission is to get more kids on bikes, teaching them a lifelong healthy habit they will enjoy for the rest of their lives.

Last week, two of our riders lost their mountain bikes, team kits, helmets, shoes, everything related to being on the mountain bike team to the Eaton fire in Altadena. One of them completely lost his home. They are sophomore Dylan McBride and junior Vaughn Cross. Vaughn's bike was new, with only a few rides on it. We are looking to normalize one thing in their lives, and get them back with their friends on team rides and the upcoming competition coming up, as the season kicks off in late February, and they need to train.

We are looking to purchase new bikes, helmets, mountain bike-appropriate riding shoes, gloves, clipless pedals, and appropriate cycling clothing with the funds we raise for both Dylan and Vaughn.

The team itself is donating money from its sponsors, but needs to raise additional funds to cover the cost and is seeking your support.

Help us get these two riders back on the trails and riding bikes.

Thanks, Head Coach Tony Sanchez
