Help Rebuild Spice Grove, St. Elizabeth, After Hurricane Melissa
My name is Tamara AK, and my family has deep roots in Spice Grove, Black River, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica — it’s where my grandmother was born and raised. Many of my relatives still live there, and I consider this community my extended family.
When Hurricane Melissa struck, it left devastation in its wake. Homes were destroyed, families were displaced, and basic necessities like food, clothing, shelter, and medicine became scarce. Seeing so many people I love lose everything has been heartbreaking.
I couldn’t stand by and watch this happen, so I’m starting this campaign to raise £100,000 to help rebuild the community and restore hope.
The funds will go directly toward:
Rebuilding homes and shelters for families who lost everything
Providing building materials to repair homes
Supplying essential medicines
Providing food for families in immediate need
Supplying clothing for adults and children
Every donation — no matter how small — will make a real difference. Your generosity will help my family and neighbors in Spice Grove regain safety, security, and dignity.
Please donate and share this campaign. Together, we can help Spice Grove rise again — stronger, safer, and full of hope.
