I am organizing this fundrasier for my friend Ssuna who runs Glory Children's Ministry, a program that is currently taking care 53 orphaned children in the Wakiso district in Uganda. I want to gather these funds for Ssuna so that he and the children are able to eat balanced meals 3 times a day, purchase purified water dispensers, and eventually purchase land where they can grow their own food, have animals, have easy access to water, and build better housing for the children.

They are currently renting housing in a village, so they do not have space to grow their own food and have to gather water from a local spring by hand and boil it for purification.

Typical meals consist of rice, beans, maize, cabbage, and sometime meat (on Sundays, when they are able to afford it).

Ssuna is only 25 years old, but has taken it upon himself to provide care for these children, after being an orphan himself . Any contribution, big or small is so helpful and will be used to get food, clean water, shelter, healthcare, and education for the children and the 3 staff members, including Ssuna who care for the children.
