I’m raising funds for my longtime colleague and friend Sri Krishna, who is facing an incredibly difficult season of life.

Sri’s wife fought cancer for more than six months, and after it spread, she passed away. Sri is now grieving while also caring for their 6-year-old daughter, who was born in the United States and has only known life here.

Along with the emotional loss, Sri is dealing with urgent practical needs. There are medical expenses from his wife’s treatment, and Sri now needs immigration legal support to navigate changes to his status after his wife’s passing. His visa situation was connected to his wife’s work authorization, and he is working to transition his status appropriately so he can continue living and working in the U.S. to raise his daughter. Sri is based in Atlanta, GA.

Sri is genuinely one of the kindest people I know—steady, thoughtful, and the type who helps others without being asked. Right now, he needs a community around him.
