Hi! I’m Erin Palmer, a Takoma neighbor. I started Spring Clean Up Week as a simple way to bring neighbors together during spring break to care for our public spaces, support local businesses, and create meaningful opportunities for students to earn service hours while building community.

I’m raising funds to support Spring Clean Up Week 2026 (April 11–19). Every dollar raised goes directly toward food and refreshments at cleanup events, helping ensure that the social gatherings after each cleanup remain welcoming and accessible.

These gatherings create a positive third space for teenagers during spring break—a place where young people can connect with each other and with neighbors, spend time in a supportive environment, and see that the community cares about them. The cleanups bring people of all ages together in service, helping strengthen relationships across generations.
