We are the Sports Medicine Club at UCLA, and we are passionate about making sports, health, and injury prevention accessible to every young athlete—no matter their background.
We visit local middle and high schools across Los Angeles and the surrounding areas to teach students about:
- Sports medicine foundations
- Injury prevention and safe training
- Sports psychology and mental health
- Professional development and career pathways in healthcare, athletics, and science
Our goal is not only to educate, but to empower the next generation of athletes and students with knowledge that protects their bodies, strengthens their confidence, and opens doors to future careers.
Why We Need Your Help
Many of the schools we work with do not have access to athletic trainers, proper sports equipment, or sports medicine resources. Through fundraising, we are able to:
- Host free educational workshops at schools
- Donate sports equipment and first aid supplies to under-resourced athletic programs
- Offer mentorship and outreach programs led by UCLA students
As a student-run organization, we rely entirely on donations to make this work possible. Every contribution—big or small—directly supports local youth and helps us bring high-quality sports medicine education to communities that need it most.
Who We Are
Our members include aspiring physicians, physical therapists, athletic trainers, sports psychologists, and healthcare professionals. We are committed to community service, health equity, and empowering young people through education.
Your Impact
Your donation will help us:
- Fund transportation and outreach events so we can reach more students
- Purchase sports equipment for schools lacking basic supplies
- Create kits with tape, wraps, ice packs, and educational materials
- Expand our mentorship and workshop programs
Together, we can help young athletes stay safe, active, and inspired—while supporting the next generation of healthcare and sports professionals.
Thank you so much for supporting our mission.
Every donation truly makes a difference.
