Hi, I'm Jenny, and I run Spokane Food and Events, a local kitchen built on the belief that food connects us all, and we deserve access to it.

I have been on food stamps before. I know what it feels like to stretch every dollar and still worry about putting a meal on the table, especially during the holidays. I want to do what I can to relieve that kind of worry this Thanksgiving.

Nearly 20% of Spokane County residents are on SNAP benefits, and many more are quietly struggling. This year, I am raising funds to provide Thanksgiving meals and grocery boxes to anyone in need - no questions asked. Just a simple act of care and community.

Every dollar donated will go directly towards feeding local families, whether that is a fully cooked meal or a bag of groceries to be cooked at home.
