Help Splattering Smiles End Period Poverty, One Outfit at a Time

Period poverty is a hidden crisis in our own communities.

• 16.9 million women in the U.S. live in poverty and struggle to afford menstrual products (NIH.gov).

• 1 in 4 students in the U.S. can’t afford period products (Period.org) and report difficulty accessing menstrual products (Statista, 2023).

For many, this means missed school, missed work, and missed opportunities because of a basic health need that remains unmet.

That’s where Splattering Smiles comes in. We sell gently used clothing to raise money for organizations working to end period poverty and achieve period equality. 100% of proceeds go toward supporting menstrual equity initiatives that ensure everyone can manage their periods with dignity.

Now, we’re taking our mission a step further. In addition to clothing sales, Splattering Smiles is launching hygiene kit drives for local organizations to distribute directly to those in need. Each kit will include pads, tampons, liners, and other essential products, and we need your help to make it happen.
