Spirited Wills Senior Enrichment Center began from a deeply personal place. When my mother was given six months to live as she was losing her fight with breast cancer, I became her caregiver and was determined to make her last months as meaningful as possible. I started inviting about five of her close friends to join us for lunch once a month, and soon, others wanted to join. What began as a small, heartfelt gathering quickly grew into something much bigger.

Today, our community has blossomed to 34 wonderful members—20 women and 14 men—each bringing their own stories, laughter, and energy. The demand is so great that we now have a waiting list of seniors eager to join, but limited resources have made it difficult to welcome everyone who wants to be part of our group. Our monthly social events are a highlight for our members, offering a chance to share a meal, play games, and enjoy each other’s company. However, the cost of meals, gifts, and activities adds up quickly, and our group has outgrown most local restaurants. We dream of having a dedicated space where all our members—and those waiting to join—can gather comfortably. Looking ahead, our ultimate goal is to create a mobile activity center: a specially outfitted RV that brings fun, workshops, and connection directly to seniors wherever they are.
