Help Support Spencer Capdepon’s Children After Tragic Accident
On August 6th, our beloved Spencer Capdepon, just 25 years old, was struck from behind while riding his bike only three minutes from home. He was on his way to the store — something so ordinary — when his life was suddenly and tragically changed forever.
Spencer was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center, where doctors discovered devastating internal injuries. He has since been declared brain dead. Our hearts are shattered.
Spencer was more than a young man — he was a loving father, a devoted partner, and a caring, funny soul who lit up every room. He was working hard to start his own roofing company, determined to build a better life for his family. Above all, Spencer adored his children.
He leaves behind his 2-year-old daughter, Genavieve, and his 4-year-old adopted son, Elijah. Spencer stepped in from the very beginning to raise Elijah as his own, proudly being the “dada” he didn’t have to be — but chose to be, every single day.
Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of the accident, the driver’s insurance will not cover medical or long-term support costs. There will be no financial assistance for his children, who now face life without their father.
We are asking for your support to help cover:
Funeral and memorial expenses
Ongoing support for Genavieve and Elijah
Immediate needs for the family during this unimaginable time
Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference. If you cannot give, please consider sharing this page to help us reach more people who may be able to help.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, support, and kindness.
