Help people experiencing food insecurity in Brantford, Ontario, by donating to Soup for the Soul.
Hi all!
I am trying to raise $2000 to replace a large-sized food warmer/proofer needed in the kitchen at Soup for the Soul, a meal program running out of St. Andrew’s United Church in Brantford, Ontario, where I have been volunteering for the past four years.

Soup for the Soul is a fantastic program that strives to provide a complete, nutritionally-balanced, take-out meal every Monday to Friday to anyone experiencing food insecurity. This program has been helping the community for over 25 years, and when the pandemic brought more challeging times for many, Soup for the Soul served an average of over 200 meals a day. The program’s approach is holistic in nature, offering non-judgmental care and support for the people they serve. Beyond serving meals, Soup for the Soul wishes to have a positive impact in the community through the promotion of social networking, the reduction of isolation, and the promotion of community cohesion.

Soup for the Soul is funded and supported through a combination of St. Andrew’s United Church, municipal and provincial grants, Ontario Food Bank, and other private sources. These financial supports help Soup for the Soul operate on a daily basis, but there are times when extra help is needed; this is one of those times. A food warmer/proofer that the program relies on every day is no longer working and needs to be replaced. I am asking you, my friends, to help raise $2000 towards purchasing a replacement.
Thank you,
