SoulFest Nebraska is a community-built-community founded by Angela Mayo and powered by a dedicated team including Sundri Jones and Taylor Laveau. Our group is made up of intuitives, practitioners, coaches, healers, creatives, artists, crafters, and heart-centered folks who are passionate about holding space for creativity, empowerment, and authentic living. Since 2022, we’ve hosted SoulFest twice a year in Kearney, NE, and Soulstice in the Park in Hastings, NE—an outdoor summer festival celebrating community and creativity. Our shows feature a wide variety of vendors, from crafters and artists to healers and coaches, all committed to spiritual exploration and supporting others. We also partner with local animal rescues, Kearney Rescue Cats and The Good Life Rescue, to help connect pets with loving homes and bring companionship opportunities to our events.
This coming year, we’re excited to move our spring show to Grand Island, NE, filling a gap left by another event that has ended. We’re committed to keeping our shows free to attend and affordable for vendors, but the costs of a larger venue and expanded programming are significant. We want to offer more hands-on and kid-friendly workshops, bring in guest speakers for conference-style sessions, and increase our advertising reach so more people can access these supportive, community-centered spaces. Your support will help us cover venue fees, workshop materials, speaker costs, and outreach efforts, ensuring SoulFest Nebraska continues to grow and empower our community.
We’re aiming to raise funds by the end of September to secure our venue and begin planning these new features, with hopes to continue expanding our impact through the end of the year. Every contribution helps us create more opportunities for connection, creativity, and healing in Nebraska.
