UPDATE!! 7/31 Thanks to your generous donations Sophia had her neuro appointment. The incredible team at Oradell Animal Hospital think she has a good chance to walk again. Which we are so happy to hear! The next steps are an MRI to ensure she has not reached the point of no return with her disc disease. Meet Sophia — a sweet, playful little dog with a big heart. At just 3 years old, Sophia's life took a heartbreaking turn when she became suddenly paralyzed. Her previous family, unable to afford the care she needed, made the difficult decision to have her euthanized.

I couldn’t let that happen.

I stepped in to foster Sophia, giving her a second chance at life and the hope of walking again. She's been unable to use her back legs for over a month now, and while her journey won't be easy, I believe she deserves every chance to try.

Sophia now needs to see a neurologist for a full evaluation, and we’re hoping to get her a custom dog wheelchair to help her regain mobility. She also requires regular supplies like diapers and other special care items.

I'm doing all of this on my own, without the support of a rescue organization, and her medical and daily care costs are quickly adding up. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
