Hi, my name is Jami, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart and a hopeful spirit.

Nearly five years ago, my goddaughter came into my life under heartbreaking circumstances—she lost her mother when she was just 9 months old. From that moment on, I stepped in to care for her, love her, and provide the stable home every child deserves.

Today, she’s a bright, beautiful little girl about to turn five, and I’ve been there through every milestone—her first steps, her first words, and soon her first day of preschool.

Legally, I currently share custody with her 21-year-old sister. While I deeply respect her sister’s role in her life, adoption is the next step needed for her safety, security, and future.

Adopting her would give her the stability and legal protection she deserves. She wouldn’t just be in my home—she’d be my daughter in every sense of the word.

But adoption comes with legal fees and court costs, and that’s where I need your help. I’m hoping to raise $5,000 to cover the legal expenses needed to make this adoption official.
