Hi everybody! My name is Sophia Cimino. I'm going into my final year of Nursing school, and I have been accepted by my school, Sacred Heart University, to volunteer in Ghana, Africa as part of a Clinical Immersion Trip, where I will be gaining field experience by working alongside Ghanaian nurses and physicians to care for the region's people. I am so excited to immerse myself in the rich African culture while also exploring different ways that healthcare is practiced!
