Hello, I am Mia Minks, and I am Sommer Rose's momma. The reason I am asking for help is because Sommer has to have a 3rd invasive back surgery in a couple of months. She will need to be able to pay rent, utilities, phone, groceries, etc. while she is recovering from this surgery.

It's unfortunate that she has to have a 3rd back surgery. She has titanium screws in her back; two have broken, and another one has come loose. This is after a second surgery where one of the screws was set in the wrong place—her muscle! So needless to say, she has been in a lot of pain during the past year, but yet she is relentless! She is pursuing a nursing career at Galen and attends full time. She is only able to work part-time right now and is struggling with the fact she will be without income soon and lives in an apartment.

This all started with scoliosis, and her jr-sr year of high school she had to wear a back brace 23 hours a day for several months (summer months at that). She did it through, and I couldn't be prouder of the young lady she is becoming. She is determined to not let this set her back. It's just also hard mentally having 3 back surgeries within a year between the age of 18 and 19.

If you can't give monetarily, please pray for our Sommer. She is one strong girl, and I just want to be able to make sure she isn't stressed financially while she will be recovering.
