Support Soccer Dreams at Place Bridge Academy
Donation protected
For the last 7 years I have had the privilege of teaching and coaching soccer at Place Bridge Academy, a magnet school in Denver Public Schools, that serves a student body largely comprised of immigrant and refugee students, with students coming from all over the world and speaking upwards of 40+ native languages.
Many of these students have come to the United States following traumatic events and experiences, which no person, let alone a child, should ever have to encounter.
One thing that unites this diverse community is SOCCER! Unfortunately, many of our students' families do not have the means to purchase shoes or other sports equipment for their children.
I regularly play soccer with our students during recess and am often the only one wearing shoes. The majority of our students play barefoot.
In an effort to help foster connection and community, I'm hoping to raise money to buy basic soccer gear (shoes, balls, goalie gloves, etc.) for our community.
Please consider making a donation. Anything that you can give, even a few dollars, will help provide these wonderful young people with the necessary gear to continue building our community through the beautiful game.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and I know that this gift will make a huge impact some wonderful young people that deserve so much.
ADDITIONALLY...if you happen to have any lightly used gear that you would be willing to donate, I would be happy to personally reimburse you for any shipping costs.
You can send any donations of gear to:
