Support SoCal News Group Journalists

The SCNG Guild is walking out in an effort to secure a fair contract that includes liveable wages, and these journalists need your support.

After almost two years of bargaining by our union, the company has shown little effort to solidify a deal that our workers deserve.

Many of our members have gone years, some up to two decades, without raises. By dragging its feet, the company has been keeping wages low for many, while the cost of living continues to skyrocket.

Enough is enough.

Unless we put significant pressure on the company, they will not provide us with a fair pay proposal.

This action will come at a cost for many. Funds will go directly to members to make up for wages lost during the walkout so these workers can continue to pay for housing and utilities, groceries, etc.

We don’t take this action lightly, but we believe it is necessary to win the salaries needed to afford to live in the communities that we cover.
