Support Small Business in Elizabethtown
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Carissa. I really love our Elizabethtown community and I'm hoping to help during this time with a crowdfunding campaign that will support our local downtown small business community. I’m a small business owner, my husband is a local pastor, I’m on the Etown chamber of commerce board and I have lots of connections to many small businesses in Etown. We have so many incredible community supporters (I know I do with my business) and want to continue to provide opportunities for our community to stay strong together and connected during this time.
I’m also a huge believer in crowd funding, community support and coming together to do something amazing.
Here’s my pitch. I’m proposing trying to get as many people as we can to donate $30 ($1/day for 30 days) to give back to some of our most vulnerable businesses in downtown Elizabethtown.
If we get 300 people, that’s $300 per business!
I know we can do this and I know how much more it will mean coming from a collective community... our community.
Timeline:
Now - (April is the time to spread the word and Share Share Share)
Now-May 15th - everyone in the group donate $30
May 30th - Money gets disbursed to our 30 local businesses!
(We will for sure try to video tape it and hope to catch some encouraged faces)
Our 30 Recipient businesses:
1. Knock Knock Boutique
2. Found In You
3. Fancy Unicorn
4. The Tatted Toy Guys
5. Fuego Latino

If we can use our community to support these local businesses, encourage them, maybe pay a bill for them and lift them up during this time they will be in better places to serve us when we're on the other side of this pandemic. And we would love to contribute to that!
If you don't have $30 right now, no sweat. There are many other ways to support small businesses in our amazing community. Leave a positive review for the businesses that you are missing, send them an encouraging note or shop them when you can in whatever way you can.
(I wish we could have included even more small businesses in Etown and want everyone to know that the listed businesses were randomly selected based on location and current status)
Lets make a difference together!
