Support Ska4Kids: Instruments for Bogotá Youth Ska Ensemble
Donation protected
Ska4Kids is on a mission to teach traditional Jamaican music to new generations! Our goal is to educate and inspire children and young adults through music, sharing the vibrant history of Jamaican ska, rocksteady, and early reggae. We're building a global platform where ska thrives, and it all begins with our first initiative: creating a youth ska ensemble in Bogotá, Colombia.
This Halloween, we'll kick things off with Ska4Kids Bogota Ensemble, where children aged 7 to 17 can learn, rehearse, and perform live at the "Festival Skalloween: Funny Town" on November 3rd, 2024.
Why We Need Your Help:
We want every child to have the chance to explore their musical talent, regardless of their financial situation. Your donation will help us:
- Help provide instruments to kids who don’t have access.
- Secure rehearsal spaces.
- Cover transportation and logistics.
- Provide educational materials and pay instructors for their time.
This Halloween event is just the beginning! Ska4Kids has big plans to create youth ensembles and ska education programs worldwide. We'd love to hear from you if you're interested in collaborating with us for future projects in other cities.
How You Can Help:
By donating, you’re helping to bring this first project to life and supporting the future of ska music for kids globally. Even a small contribution can make a big impact!
If you can’t donate, please help by sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. Every bit of support counts!
Thank you for supporting Ska4Kids and helping us nurture young musical talent while celebrating the global legacy of ska music!
