March 2026 UPDATE: Help Carly Create a Stable Future for Her Little Boy

At this stage, the court proceedings are still ongoing and are expected to continue for the next few months until a mandate is in place. Unfortunately, Carly cannot access Legal Aid due to capacity issues, and the financial strain of continuing this fight is growing heavier.

Carly is an incredible mum living in the heart of the Mount Beauty community.

She finds beauty in everyday moments, growing veggies in the backyard, baking cakes on rainy afternoons, and setting up tents under the stars so her four year-old can fall asleep to the sounds of nature.

Her world revolves around her son. Every choice she makes is driven by love, stability, and the hope of giving him the safest, happiest childhood possible.

But right now, Carly is facing a challenge no parent should have to face alone.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, she’s in the middle of a difficult custody process that has become both emotionally and financially overwhelming.

Despite her strength and determination, the cost of legal representation is mounting, and she simply can’t carry it on her own.
